Prohibited Items
FarmNet exists to serve legitimate agricultural trade. The following may not be listed, advertised or offered on the platform. This list isn't exhaustive — we may remove any listing that breaches our Terms of Use or South African law.
Illegal or unregistered goods
- Stolen equipment, vehicles or livestock, or goods without proof of ownership
- Firearms, ammunition or weapons that aren't licensed and transferred in line with South African law
- Illegal drugs, unregistered agricultural chemicals, or banned pesticides
- Counterfeit parts, equipment or branded goods
Livestock and wildlife
- Livestock without valid health/movement documentation where required by law
- Endangered or protected species, or any trade restricted under CITES or South African conservation law
- Any listing that promotes animal cruelty or neglect
Property and land
- Property you don't have the legal right to sell, lease or advertise
- Land or subdivisions that misrepresent zoning, water rights or servitudes
Prohibited conduct in listings
- Misleading pricing, specifications, condition or location
- Listings in the wrong category to manipulate search visibility
- Contact details, links or content used to scam or defraud buyers or sellers
- Offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful content of any kind
